Map Events are random events that take place twice during the course of a match. These events are designed to draw players together to encourage fights and spice up the game play. These events take a few different forms, each with their own unique announcements and themes. There are 3 stages these events can occur in, but the events only happen during two of the stages per match. The first stage takes place at the 21:00 mark, the second is at 13:00, and the third is at 7:00. Each stage has two different events which are chosen randomly each match.
1st Stage (21:00)
The Chokening
During The Chokening, a "master killswitch" will appear in the Culmination (center arena). This killswitch will trigger every gas tank on the island without warning, causing mayhem around the island; however, it takes a long time to press, so make sure there are no enemies around while activating it. Two of these events can happen in one game, creating a second button on the other end of the culmination.
Loot Express
During Loot Express, a random air drop is delivered to either Culco Airport, Culco Sat-Com, Culpepper Outfitters, Culco Weather Station or Culco Labs, all of which are major buildings near the sides of the map. The event and it's location is announced two minutes before the package arrives, and then again once it arrives. The air drop will instantly spawn on the buildings roof.
Shake & Bake
During Shake & Bake, the temperature inside the map will get turned way up, forcing you to run inside of a building. If you stay outside, you will take massive amounts of damage.
2nd Stage (15:00)
The Chokening

Grab My Package!
During Grab My Package!, an airdrop is sent to a random airdrop pad anywhere on the map. The airdrop drone will appear orange instead of blue and fly half the speed of normal airdrops, making it much easier to shoot down in transit. The drop pad that it will arrive at will shoot out fireworks, making it easier to spot, but also attracting other contestants. It will also pulse orange the entire match, so if you come across an airdrop pad pulsing orange, keep in mind that that is where the Grab My Package event will take place.
Drop Your Bridges
During Drop Your Bridges, airdrop pads on [trap bridges|Map#Trap_Bridge] will allow you to call in your airdrop for free! Be careful though, because other players will be going for this as well. Knocking down the bridge also make this offer unavailable.
3rd Stage (7:00)
Three Crate Monte
During Three Crate Monte, three airdrop crates will spawn in the Culmination (center arena). As a twist, only one of the crates contains a random airdrop, while the other two will explode when opened, dealing 25 damage and applying bleed * and cripple * to the opener. The event is announced two minutes before the packages arrive, and then again once it arrives.
Loot Piñata
During Loot Piñata, one random airdrop will immediately fly to the Culmination (center arena) and hover above it until shot down or dropping after several rotations around the Culmination. The airdrop drone will appear rainbow colored and fly extremely fast, making it near impossible to shoot down in transit. (Note: The Loot Piñata drone will always fly in from the north east side of the map)
Gold Rush
During Gold Rush, a free Golden Crowbar will spawn in a central [holo spawner. This crowbar will let you open a golden crate that spawns in the middle, which contains a chainsaw for you to inflict fear and loathing upon your enemies.
