Items in The Culling are objects, which the player can pick up and put in his inventory. While not all items can be used to attack an enemy, all of them can be sold at a F.U.N.C. Recyler and thrown at enemies, dealing a small amount of damage (or a big amount if it's a weapon).
Item Types
We categorize items into different groups based on the advantages the item grants to players ingame. Note that this categorization is only to help us organize the big amount of items in The Culling and it's not represented during gameplay in any way.
Items may belong to more that one category. For example knifes are considered both weapons and crafting materials.
Crafting Materials
All items that can be destroyed with F.U.N.C. to craft new items are considered crafting materials. Basic crafting materials are rocks and branches.
For a list of articles about crafting materials, see articles about crafting materials.
Weapons
We consider weapons all items players can use to deal direct damage to their opponents during a match. This doesn't include items that can only deal damage when throwing them.
Some weapon examples are:
For more information and a full list of weapons, see weapons.
Stims
All injectable substances which give the player some kind of advantage are considered stims.
Some stim examples are:
- Orange juice
- Stamina boost shot
- X-plosive runs
For more information and a full list of stims, see stims.
Traps
Traps are items players can setup to slow down or/and damage opponents lured into them.
Some trap examples are:
For more information and a full list of traps, see traps.
Explosives
We consider explosives items capable of exploding.
- Crafted explosive
- Remove explosive
- Grenade
For more information and a full list of explosives, see explosives.
Healing items
Items that provide health to their owner on use fall into this category.
Inventory upgrades
All items that players can wear during the game to increase the maximun slot count of their inventory for a maximun of 5 are included in this category.
Armors
We consider armors items that players can wear during the game to decrease incoming damage.
Tools
All items which don't fall in a category above and provide some kind of advantage to the user will be listed here.
